There are a few pros but many cons to going here. Joe is amazing. He's always accommodating, friendly with all customers, and professional. Prices are reasonable and every now and then there are great deals. This place really needs a face lift. The rooms are filthy. Old stained carpets throughout, tanning lotion splattered on the walls and never cleaned, bathroom is dirty, hand straps are torn or broken, fans are covered in dark dust and filth, tvs are in each room but never turned on for some reason, and buttons to start machines need some tlc. Its never open at the time at they should be open. I tried 9am, 9:15, 9:30 on different days. Sign says 9am. The lady at the front desk is always miserable and doesnt have a great attitude everytime I'm there. She always plays computer games and s

It’s a shame they definitely get the reviews deleted so I’m not sure if this will stay up. The guy joe is always super nice and accommodating. The woman on the other hand is absolutely miserable and shouldn’t even be aloud to work there. Pretty sure it’s some weird situation where they used to be married so I’m assuming she has to be there. I have given this place a chance multiple times because I feel like I see the most results from their tanning beds. But I don’t know how many more times I can take her horrible attitude. Hours are great, very clean environment. Joe is professiona, l personable and knowledgeable.

Just had my first experience at Island Sun Tanning and it was fabulous! They were open a lot later than the other places in the area which is always a plus. I'm already tan so I always feel awkward walking into a tanning place but the owner was SO friendly and welcoming. He was funny and definitely a good sales person lol (I ended up getting a lotion and a package when I originally came in for one). I came at a good time- no wait and he made sure to check the bed was clean. Also a big plus is that they change the bulbs frequently so you're never getting a "dull" tan and definitely get a bang for your buck! Comfortable waiting area with a nice comfy couch and a big tv! Also a lot more reasonable in price compared to places in my area (more north of here). All in all a great experience!! Up

Very friendly owner! Super helpful and full of knowledge. He definitely made me feel at home. Love the different options and types of tanning beds. They also have red light therapy available.
