Growing up in McDonough, I was visiting home for the holidays and knew I needed to tighten up my look before heading back to NYC for New Year’s Eve, and In His Image Barber Shop delivered in every way. Conveniently located just off the McDonough Square at 17 Hampton Street, this shop is a true hometown gem. Gerod has a calm, welcoming presence that immediately puts you at ease. From the moment I sat in his chair, I felt relaxed and taken care of. And let me say, I didn’t realize how much I needed a hot towel facial massage until it happened. Absolute bliss. I completely zoned out into a happy, healing place, which was exactly what my body and spirit needed after the usual Christmas stress. Sublime, peaceful, and restorative. I highly recommend G. I couldn’t tell him thank you enough for his patience with my 1.5 year old son. This was only his third haircut and it’s his best one yet!!! He sat still for most of it but even when my son got restless G worked around him and his haircut still looks amazing. Well for sure be back here for his next cut!
