Imperial barbershop 2 NYC

Terrible experience and a really unprofessional haircut. Left me two bold spots. The boss was praying and the other kid gave me two terrible bold spots. Stay away!

Very friendly and and amazing service, affordable as well. I had a haircut with Ozkan. I recommend him to everybody. He is very professional and talented. He gave exactly the same haircut i’ve anticipated. I’ll definitely visit them again.

I decided to walk into this barbershop given its proximity to work and had high expectations for this place given the reviews. The haircut ended with me not having not one but two nicks on both sides of my head. The haircut was weirdly aggressive. At the end, an adjacent barber said it was because I have a dry scalp. I am an adult in my 30s, and I have never been nicked and left bleeding on both sides of my scalp when getting a haircut. I condition my scalp every day. I laughed at their response, paid and left.

Update: Came in this morning for another haircut and shave. Great job again! I actually timed my haircut around my visit to NYC. I'll be happy to return again. See you next time! June, 2025: My son and I stopped in for haircuts on a Saturday morning. Normally, I worry about getting my hair cut by a new barber, but the reviews on Google Maps led me to Imperial. We found friendly, welcoming, talented barbers there. We both like our cuts very much. I also had a hot shave. Highly recommend! We'll be back the next time we're in NY!

Oskar is efficient, precise, and was intuitive about what haircut I wanted and what I needed. I left his shop with more than a haircut; I was stylin'! The shop's prices are reasonable. This is my third visit, and I will return again.
