I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you are getting your hair straightened. My experience was chaotic from start to finish. From booking & paying a deposit with a stylist that doesn’t work there anymore (name: ROSE. Found out at the time of my appointment) to having a rushed braided style I took out the same day. Now I have a Dominican blowout I never wanted & still no braids. Crazy. At least she tried I guess (I think? I hope?) but even the customer service was terrible. The braider kept asking me to “go & tell” the other side of the shop what to do when I don’t work here. “Go & tell them to wash your hair again”, “go & tell them xyz” like girl what? No? I wasn’t facing the mirror once which is also a red flag. Even if the braids looked good, which they don’t, I wouldn’t come back. If

I went there as a referral from someone who had a good experience with their Silk Press. I assumed that this salon knew how to do textured hair, but they did not. When I went to get my silk press, they assured me that everything would be fine since I told them that my sister's and my hair is virgin and has not been exposed to heat or chemicals. Way too much heat was put on our hair, and my roots were fried and incredibly crunchy. While the results at the time looked nice, both my sister and I have severe damage to the point where I had to cut my hair because there was no saving it. I had to cut my hair to the shortest that it has ever been and start my hair journey from nothing again. Kenia is my hairstylist! I been seeing her for about 3 years and ever since my hair has grown ridiculously and its healthy. Never disappoints me, have me in and out which I because she keeps her words.

Best Dominican salon I’ve ever been to! Kenya is the best hair stylist that has ever worked on my hair! I book her for keratin treatment and regular blow dry/ flat ironing. The whole staff makes you feel at home. The manager will even make fresh coffee while you wait! I will continue to go here even if I wait hours!!!

Worst experience with Rose, rescheduled my appointment 1 hour before my time to the afternoon; to just have her cancel it 20 minutes before. This is not the first time, last time, the same rescheduling last minute. The only reason I used her service 2nd time was that my son wanted the same braids from last time. She is definitely not professional at all, I understand emergencies happen, but no apology, just a generic text.
