I’m a regular customer at Jenny Beauty Supply and usually stock up on quite a few items each visit. Unfortunately, my experience today was very uncomfortable. The overall vibe felt off and an employee seemed to appear every couple of aisles just watching me, yet no one ever asked if I needed help. Ironically, when I actually did need assistance, no staff were available. There was also a man wearing a construction vest who I assumed was a customer, but he followed me to the register and stood there staring, which made the situation even more unsettling. I never shop with a purse or bag and consistently spend a generous amount here, so feeling monitored like that was disappointing. I love this beauty supply. It’s so big and has a lot of stuff. Most recently (Nov) I bought a shampoo and got home to find out it had expired in June. Went back to exchange it for a new non-expired one only to find out that they were all expired (some in June, some in April). They refunded me but I’d make sure to check for any expiration dates before buying anything. EDIT/UPDATE: it’s 7 months later and I came back. out of curiosity I checked the same product I returned to see if they ever took them off the shelf and they didn’t! They removed the expiration dates and put them back. You can clearly tell because the ink is smeared. They forgot to remove one and I was able to get a picture to compare. RUDE,ARROGANT,BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE i asked where a product was. This man who was obviously in charge told me "go to register" when I simply asked him where a product was. I said "but you know where it is" he then said " maybe maybe not" and kept working. The other man in charge and a customer told me where to get the product and showed me some great edge gel because they witnessed this man being rude and disrespectful to me. They want OUR money but don't want to treat us fairly! I WONT BE BACK AND NEITHER WILL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. WE/US BLACK WOMEN ARE NOT DESPERATE FOR YOUR PRODUCTS TO THE POINT OF BEING MISTREATED!!

Jenny's has a variety of everything and the prices are reasonable. However, I dont like the Pantyhose that are sold here. They are not true to size. Too small and never fit so I have to purchase at another beauty supply in homewood.

Horrible customer service . I went here for years until one day I had to stop recently because of the rudeness of the customer service experience . This beauty supply store needs to be shut down and reopened by people who truly appreciate their customers in this community I've lived out here for 17 years. I've given so much of my hard earned money for things I truly needed for my 3 daughters myself and husband. My mother shopped here and everything. Not No MORE !!!!TRUST ME . That this place is rude and ghetto and they need to be more gentle and friendly to "people" that Give them business . Instead of ungrateful and mean. I lost so much respect for them .
