Photos I showed him and posted here are one Reference and one old picture of how i wanted it vs what i ended up with** First time here, asked for a mid fade V quiff that's blended in well. Mentioned that I also didn't want the short part of the fade to extend past a certain point and just be more on the sides. Unfortunately I didn't get what I asked for and my hair is completely messed up. I mentioned my previous bad experience and we joked about how much a bad haircut can ruin your confidence and whole vibe, and dang, its like he took that as a challenge to one up it. When he was first done and handed me the mirror, I was shocked because I ended up with this super boxy flat top look from the front. Asked if we could make it shorter and hoped that would help. Being new to AZ it’s always hard to find a new barber you can trust, especially dealing with curly hair. We had a great experience today at Icon. The atmosphere is inviting, it’s clean & good vibes in there. We booked with Chicago & he listened to exactly what I wanted & it came out so clean! My son got a taper & he trimmed up his curls as well. Chicago was personable & patient with my 8 year old with all his questions & really took his time to perfect the cut. You can tell when someone loves their craft. My son left with his confidence on 1000 & loving his hair. We will most def be back asap. 💈

Chicago did an amazing job cutting my son’s hair! My son has sensory issues, and haircuts can be challenging, but Chicago was so patient and understanding. He put on a movie to help distract him, which made a huge difference. The haircut looks great, and my son felt calm and comfortable the whole time. We’re so grateful and will definitely be coming back!
