My experience at Hyma Dominican Salon was nothing short of amazing! I came all the way from Alexandria ON THANKSGIVING… and they were OPEN! Truly a life saver because i was not going out of town without my hair being done. Maria washed my hair so well i almost fell asleep at the bowl! Her head massages are *chefs kiss* We love a good & thorough wash! Then Sony styled my hair & gave me exactly what i wanted.. middle part with pin curls.(perfect for the holiday) She was Super attentive & caring! Also they use Grade A products to ensure your hair is protected & healthy. I highly recommend this salon! It’s super clean & all the ladies are so welcoming! Thank you so much taking my last minute walk in! I will definitely be back! :)

First off, I have to say that HYMA Dominican Hair Salon is absolutely AMAZING! Seriously, it’s amazing. The staff (each and everyone of them) is super friendly and the customer service is just fabulous. I’ve been visiting this salon for months now, and whether I have my natural hair or a weave, the wash and blowout always look stunning. I’m just blown away by how great everyone’s hair looks when they’re done. It really boosts your confidence when you walk out of the salon. If you’re searching for a salon to call your own, this is definitely the place to come and get pampered :) You won’t be let down by the service at all.

After my stylist of 6 years could no longer do my hair, I went on a hunt. I tried about five different salons and then I came to Hyma and at last my search is over! Heidi and her staff are warm and inviting. The salon is bright, up to date and clean. Maria is great at washing my hair and Heidi is also wonderful. Sony is my ❤️. I’ve been going to Heidi for 2 years now, and I can honestly say she’s the best in the DMV! The space is always clean and she’s so gentle and attentive. Even the other stylists in there are great. I’ve never left an appointment unhappy she truly listens and always makes my hair look amazing. My hair has grown so much since going here. The treatments that are offered are a godsend.
