Hygge Hair

I had a hair appointment with Elizabeth on Tuesday, February 20 and I have to say it was one of the best haircuts I’ve had in long time and I absolutely love it🫶🫶! She listened to everything I said about I would like to have done, and it came out 100 times better than I imagined. Betsy is the best! Kind, funny, and most importantly, great at what she does. It’s taken a while to find someone I want to make another appointment with… and now I don’t need to look anywhere else. She was able to beautifully cut a 4 year-old’s hair as well, so extra points for that.

I saw Liz for a cut and color - my first ever professional color. This is the first time that I think I've ever left a salon completely happy with the service - the cut was solid. I asked for some minor changes and Liz was responsive to my wishes. And the color - I mean, wow - it looks exactly like my natural color and there wasn't really enough of that to judge by - Liz seems to have some special gift with color. I've been cutting my own hair for years and that makes for a very skittish foray into letting someone else do it for you - but the entire experience was happy and true to their name, really comfortable. I can't recommend them enough.

Best haircut I've ever had! I got my hair cut by Betsy. First off, the atmosphere of the salon is amazing, during my haircut I was offered fresh coffee and other beverages. Betsy gave me a wonderful and relaxing head/neck massage with aromatic oils followed by a shampoo and conditioning treatment while relaxing music played in the background. Betsy obviously has an extensive knowledge of hair and possesses a wide range of experience working in the industry. She used several different tools while cutting my hair and explained the process while she performed the cut; Betsy familiarized herself with the texture, thickness, and body of my hair and also my personal desires/hair habits and applied those aspects to create the perfect hairstyle and cut. I had been having such trouble finding a stylist who could create the short (almost pixie) layered and spunky look that I wanted (had gone to 2 different stylists before Hygge and was disappointed). Drea was Great - she shared what her ideas where after listening to what I wanted and she was wonderful about asking me what extra I wanted taken off/adjusted as we got closer to the end. And, it was a fun, relaxing experience with Drea and the salon itself was warm and inviting. I will go back to her!
