You do not need to drive into town for top-tier hair service. The owner is highly trained and apprenticed under a celebrity stylist, with past clients that include Kathy Hilton (heiress to Hilton Hotels). Amanda, her daughter, also brings strong expertise and previously ran a successful salon before selling it and relocating to Laie. My cut and color turned out great and matched the quality I normally get in Honolulu without the extra two hours of driving.

Loved the color the toner gave me, but not happy about the pricing and this scab I got. 1. My appointment was set for 3:30PM and didn’t get in until 4PM 2. Toner was out in and owner/stylist Trish set the timer and left the salon 3. Got my hair washed and felt her vigorously scrubbing the corner of my forehead, and hurt a bit 4. Checked out and saw that my total for the service was $133 -$60 toner -$40 “blowout” -$27 product I purchased The so called “blowout” I received was literally a basic blow dry. My hair is naturally straight and there was absolutely no volume that’s supposed to make it a blowout. I asked for a short layered cut (which I already had) Trish rushed thru the cut while another client's hair was processing. My hair was cut in uneven clumps & I was charged $55 for a 10 minute cut. Luckily, hair grows. I would never recommend this shop.

It was my first time getting a balayage and I love the way Trish did it. She did an amazing job blending it and really took her time. It is expensive but comparatively to every other salon I looked into that are in town area, she’s about the same price.

Great blow dry! I went in after my resort had to cancel my appointment and the owner did a really good job. I showed her a picture and she did exactly what I wanted. To the owner: I'm so sorry the tip didn't go through in the end. I clicked on the % twice and nothing was happening but the girl at the till told me it had gone through. Thank you again!
