I found Hue Salon on Yelp and fell in love with Christy's work. I went to her Instagram page to see more of her work and I knew I wanted her to do my hair. I messaged Christy and she responded very quickly with some questions about my hair, my expectations and asked if she could do a telephone consult with me when we spoke on the phone. She gave me an explanation about her salon, her methods and how every service she provides is custom to the client. I made an appointment with her and I did not regret it. Christy was kind, funny, attentive to my needs and most importantly, she did my hair exactly how I wanted it.... actually she exceeded my expectations. First time client. Christy and her assistant were extremely attentive. She listened to all my concerns and to what I wanted, giving her professional opinion. I felt understood and heard, extremely important. I've worked with many stylists and you can tell who is experienced, Christy and her team are very experienced and professional, and I could tell she has years of honing her craft by the technique and meticulous work she did on my haircut. I loved the result, a more layered look with volume, and she also did a hair treatment and toned my hair. I will definitely be returning.

I cannot recommend Christy enough! I came in with a vision of going super light, but Christy was the voice of reason my hair truly needed. Instead of just doing what I asked and risking the integrity of my hair, she met me and my hair in the middle. She took the time to explain the entire process to me, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to find a stylist who is as educational as they are talented. She also gave me a beautiful cut to get rid of my damaged ends—it feels so much healthier and looks incredible. Christy is truly an artist. I wanted highlights, but I was hesitant and didn't want them to be too noticeable; so she suggested lowlights which gave my hair dimension and life with the perfect amount of subtlety. She treats your hair like a canvas and creates beautiful art everytime. My hair not only looks great but it's also easy to manage.
