LOVE YOURSELF- GO SEE SEVIN! Sevin has been my hairstylist for about five years and if I can help it, she will be my forever stylist. Calling her a stylist feels minimalistic because at her core - she's an artist. Everything from her easily acceptable online booking, her amazing touch as she washes your hair, to her making sure you get alone time with a new cut so you can ensure you love YOUR hair creates an invaluable experience that otherwise is hard to find. For my curl gals and guys in particular - Sevin knows how to cut us! I have an implicant trust that when I leave Sev's - I'll feel hotter, stronger, sexier, and I probably got some great laughs in. NY has plenty of stylist - there's only one Sevin and lucky for me I found her!

Sevin is incredible. I have been seeing her for over six years now, and she is the only person I trust to cut my hair. She has an unbelievable ability to analyze a head of hair (the color, texture, weight, etc.) and know exactly what it needs. When you first start seeing her, she devotes time to learning about your hair care routine, style, and goals. As she cuts, she talks with you throughout the process to make sure she is matching your vision while also providing new styling ideas. Sevin is a genius!!!!!! Before I started seeing her: bouncing from stylist to stylist, being so uncomfortable in the chair, getting maybe one week of good hair out of a haircut. After I started seeing her (will never go to anyone else again): absolutely straight up chilling and collaborating with a true artist on a cut that we both love, getting compliments on my hair for months with basically no styling effort. Sevin is somehow able to be a meticulous craftswoman while also creating a whimsical, non judgemental, supportive atmosphere that makes me feel so at ease and inspired by her love of the craft.
