We had an emergency request for help when our daughter’s hair matted up beyond what we could work through ourselves. Ms. House was so patient, positive and uplifting during a very challenging service to detangle our daughter’s hair. She worked us into her schedule the very same day we reached out. I can’t thank her enough for saving our little one’s hair from having to cut. The shop location is convenient, and VERY clean. The chairs are so comfortable and nostalgic. Her service was kind, caring and felt like being with family. We will be back.

Wonderful place, we had a great experience. My daughter is special needs and has a hard time sitting up straight and sitting very still and they did a great job. They really took the time to go the extra mile and we are really happy with the results.

Visiting CR, and I like to patronize femme-owned, BIPOC businesses. SO glad there was time to fit me in for an afternoon cut. I didn't have pictures, but the owner has a gift-- it's EXACTLY what I wanted! She was a joy to chat up during my appointment; ask how 'House of Beauty' came to be her salon's name (it's a lovely story)

I needed my hair braided in a pinch and LaVasha made a last minute appointment work! For my first time here, I can say the service was more professional than other salons. Everyone working there was patient with me, making sure to stop and address any concerns I had. She had the forethought to ask what I wanted my hair to look like. She is a master at the art of human connection-she could feel my sensitive areas without me uttering a word. She is patient and showed compassion to my children when they got antsy waiting for me. It's been years since I could say I have 0 complaints about my hair. Awesome job Ms. House! I will be back and I will be recommending you!
