House of Art Barbershop

The BEST barber on both sides of the Mississippi! Been with Malik (Bobo) since 2019. As a woman, it can be difficult to find a male barber who is attentive to your needs & brings your vision to life. I like my lining to be sharp, but still feminine. Bobo definitely gets that! I would follow him ANYWHERE. It makes a world of a difference when your barber is passionate about what they do. 11 outta 10, definitely recommend!

I’ve been coming to House of Art for almost a year now and I couldn’t be happier. For a while I had been driving out to Clayton because I’m weird about trusting people with my hair and didn’t realize we had such a great barbershop in Alton. I literally couldn’t be happier with the haircuts and attention the staff and owner give to each person that walks in the door, and it doesn’t matter if you are a regular like me or a new patron like I was several months ago. If you have not given them a try you are missing out. I highly recommend House of Art to anyone in the area.

You have to go here!! Extremely warm and professional. I told Bobo what I wanted and he gave me that. When there was room for improvement he consulted with me and made changes after I approved them. Very easy to talk to and he made the time go by.

I’d give more than 5 stars if possible!! My son (13yr old) loves getting his hair cut here! Bobo always does a flawless job!
