Hotrod's Chop Shop

This is the absolute best place to get a haircut in all of Sacramento! I've been to 7 places after moving up here from SoCal and Hot Rod gives the best cut out of all of em, by far. The main guy there is super cool, he's lovely to chat with and super methodical with his cuts. He asks the perfect amount of questions to get EXACTLY the cut you're looking for. I never walk out of here with a bad haircut. This place is gonna pay finer attention to you and the cut you want than anywhere else. Originally I came here on a whim so if you're debating on stopping by: stop debating, this is the place.

I have been coming here for about 12 years and I look forward to hanging out with Hot Rod at his shop every time. I even now bring my 6 year old in for the experience and the great haircuts. My son always asks when can we hang with Hot Rod again! Hot Rod is not only a great barber, but a great guy who is easy to talk to and fun to chat with. Dont go anywhere else.... Come into to his old-school shop for a great haircut and a fun time.

New to the area and gave this shop a try. I will absolutely be coming back, I had a great experience with Hot Rod and love my cut!

First time in, not my last. Super clean and pro. If you're into old and vintage rods, this is a great place to talk shop. Just an old fashioned style barber which is all I want. Tip - go early Saturday morning. No wait. Classic cuts done right.

Didn’t give me the simple cut we discussed. Left the top uneven and sort of just stopped in the middle of the haircut. Won’t be going back.
