Hot Nails

Long story short the owner wife was rude very unprofessional when I asked what was her name she said “NO NAME” just call me no name! I asked for a soak off my hands and two big toes!! When I arrived She said she can lift the nails on my toenails because they don’t soak off toes but tried to soak off after the guy put a hole in my toe nail. My real toe nail is damaged and all she could say was I’m sorry. Unfortunately I had my daughter with me so I didn’t go off how I wanted to. They still charged me and look at my toe! And yes my toe hurts!

I was not impressed with my visit, unfortunately. I went in for a dip, but the nail tech did one coat of dip, then shellac instead. He didn’t ask, just did it, then explained he messed up the dip. My nails were chipping the very next day. $45 for a shellac that didn’t last 24 hours. Not sure if you can see in the second picture, but he undercut the mail, then pulled (yanked from the quick) the nail, it hurt, and now it’s infected. He hurt me multiple times while drilling and filing as well, where at one point I had to pull my hand away. Nice people, but unfortunately not skilled, and I feel like I just threw my money away. Be careful 😬

Jimmy is a magician! I have been coming to this nail salon for over a year now and Jimmy is by far the best nail designer I have met. I periodically bite my nails and in my unsuccessful attempts to grow my natural nails he always fixed them up and made them look absolutely amazing and beautiful. It is very difficult for a nail designer to make very short nails look naturally beautiful again and so far Jimmy is the only one who was able to absolutely transform my nails! He is extremely detail oriented and won’t let you leave until it looks perfect. I am a difficult customer and he impressed me with his kindness and patience, that you usually don’t get at busy nail salons. I go here all the time, Jimmie, Tiffany & Lana always do a great job, they have Shalisa there too, baby when I say she did my fill in & made my nails look like a new set, I was so excited. I love my nails. I had went to a different salon in westland where my nails were lumpy, & clumpy too thick & not drilled or shaped. It was a one time thing & very last minute! Never again will I go back there. But Hot Nails definitely is me & my sisters favorite spot! I love them great pedicures & treatment!❤❤

Today I went in for my first time at this location and Anna serviced me, she was so sweet, she took her time with me, with the hot stones and massages, my nails look absolutely amazing!!! She talked to me as well so it wasn’t awkward, I am feeling great about going there. I will be returning as soon as possible! This is a very nice place to go if you want to get your nails dont but don’t have a nail tech, I went in and got gel polish/acrylic. Beautiful service
