Hot Nails

So disappointed about how these turned out! The lady who did them was very sweet but the quality of her work was awful. Came in asked for an ombré type design that she said they couldn’t accomplish due to not having the right equipment. Nails are thick in spots and the paint job was awful. Will be going elsewhere from now on. Totally embarrassed to even show them in public.

The two stars are only because the nails themselves are pretty. I never leave reviews, but Hot Nails is overpriced for the quality received. I paid $87 for a full set of ombré acrylic which is advertised as $65. I was charged $5 for having a small chunk of polish on one finger. The removal process was literally part of basic nail prep for acrylics (filing down the nail bed). At the end the tech put a chrome dusting on the nails but the price for that wasn’t discussed or posted anywhere. What I am most irritated about though is that I paid $87 and the tech didn’t even do my cuticles and there is product residue all over my cuticles and I had to pick cured gel off of my finger tips. Overall, my nails look like I got glue on nails and quickly put them on not caring about glue getting anywhere

Have been here a couple times before and the experience was okay, but the last two times really were quite bad. I wanted acrylics with a flower design for a special event. The man who did my nails took nearly two hours, and my nails were very uneven, thick, and oddly shaped. One of my nails even had sort of a hook underneath where he shoved all the excess acrylic material underneath my fingernail (which was really kinda gross). He also dug into my skin with the drill MANY times and I ended up bleeding and the skin around my fingers hurt for the rest of the day. The only reason I didn’t complain was because they looked decent from afar. Went back later on to get them to remove these same acrylics (thought I would least give them another chance) and had them apply just some basic polish (no

I asked for medium length, white tip, full set. I wanted one strawberry painted on the ring finger. I was told from the jump they couldn't do nail art, but they could give me a sticker. I'm not a fan of the nails, the edges are thin in some spots and flooding in others. The nail lengths are varying. My sister also had her nails done by another man at the store, and her nails are thick, oddly shaped, and we had to ask him to buff them and do a top coat because he left them rough after a glitter dip. We likely will not be going back.

I have been coming to Hot Nails for years and always have a great experience. They do a great job of making sure walk-ins are taken care of in a timely fashion. Yesterday Bobby did my nails for the first time and he was WONDERFUL. Will request him specifically from now on. My nails look beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for better.
