Honey Nails & Design

Disappointed. I have always had a positive experience coming here. The staff is great super friendly. But this last visit did not meet expectations. I showed a picture of what I wanted, he didn't seem to get it so I went with a simplified tip in the 2 main colors but opted for cat eye polish to at lasts give it SOME jush, but he just did the colors. I left feeling underwhelmed.

If I could go lower than a 1 star I would!! Went in because they had openings right now thinking maybe they would do them right this time. And one of the guys did a HORRIBLE job on my nails. Talked me into acrylics because they were close in price after saying I just wanted a manicure this time since I had a feeling they would mess up my nails again.. he glued the nail on CROOKED and instead of making it right he added on top of it and made it look like it was straight when its literally not, then most of my nails are not evenly filed. Didn't even offer a discount for the mess up or offer to just take them off and charge us lower. Super irritating and im so sad my nails look horrible compared to when I went in 😭 Mind you, the nail he glued on crooked has always been a straight nail....

I came today to get acrylics for my first time I picked out the color that I wanted ( color pink number 270) so the guy talked me out of getting that color so he wanted me to do glitter which I didn't want he said the glitter would last longer (gel polish) so I was like okay that's fine I guess but when he soaked and filed my nails he cut some of my cuticles and they ended up bleeding.

The gentleman who did my nails didnt seem like he knew what he was doing. He applied the acrylic so thin that a nail snapped off just from washing and drying my hands. The lady had to step in and do the design on my nails after he fixed the broken one. She was trying to do something totally different than what I asked for. I had to tell her I wanted marble gel, not glitter. They charged me an additional $15 for a simple design on weak nails that couldn't even withstand a hand washing. It hasn't even been 24 hours and another nail is cracked. Never coming back.

I am absolutely in good hands here. I'm pretty rough on my long nails. And guess what... they don't break after a fill! Thank you to this excellent business for providing a "momma needs a moment" time :) And don't get me wrong, the people are great and all. But it's shop dog Milo can steal their spotlight. 😁
