Hollywood Nails and Spa

We had an appointment for two for manicures and pedicures. They no longer have a two- floor salon. The beautiful and relaxing downstairs area where they used to do nail service is boarded up. They only have a sterile looking upstairs area. When we got there they had one customer and only one available technician. We had an extended wait while they two techs took care of the one other customer. I felt like we were rushed. My tech said she "forgot" I asked for a higher level of service manicure (it was clearly marked on my check-in survey) and rushed off to provide service to a walk-in customer. M companion's tech was very nice and did a good job. My polish, on the other hand, is already peeling and chipping on my fingernails and toenails. Not happy. I come to this place all the time. Today I went in and I was given the worse experience. I went in with a very simple request for my nails. I wanted dip powder white nails with the exception of one nail being rose gold glitter. The nail tech lee refused to do dip she decided to do acrylic. Instead of doing my very plain Jane request she through stones into the mix. To make matters worse she used GOLD stones instead of ROSE GOLD ! She did a sloppy job. The stones aren’t placed evenly and the overall experience was just not enjoyable.

I came today and it was locked and lights were off. It looks like they're renovating the downstairs again? And their number is totally out of service. Not good. Maybe they shut down?

UPDATE: it’s hard for me to find a good no-chip, gel manicure. Although their service and treatment was nice my gel manicure was completely ruined after a couple of days. My thumb chipped after just two days even though my manicurist guaranteed it would for two weeks and then after 6 days the bright mango colored yellow turned dark and dirty I have no idea how or why. I wish it didn’t ruin, it costed an extra $20 for gel manicure, I don’t think I will come back I was a bit skeptical to walk in because of the prices but it was very well worth it, I walked in just for a pedicure but it was so amazing that I decided to get a manicure as well, I got the no-chip so we’ll see how long it lasts.
