His & Hers Hair Salon

Troy did mine and my husbands hair and did exactly what we asked for. He explained the process along the way to make sure i was happy with decisions before cuts were made. Price was really reasonable and conversation was top notch. Picture is after cut. Came in with long hair in a ponytail and Asked for a shaggy medium layer cut. Exactly like my photos. Super happy and will be back.

Needed to find someone who could work with my fine hair. Sharon R. is wonderful! She took the time to study my hair & make suggestions. She took off 6" of dead-ends. She also took the time to talk to me about blow drying - how, a hair lotion to use to set it, etc. Not many hair dressers have been able to style my long, fine hair .... she did a fantastic job and it held all day long! Love this salon!!!

I give the haircut 5 stars. The salon is very nice and clean and most of the staff seemed very polite. The gentleman who was assigned to me (owner's husband) told me that he wasn't going to wear a mask nor had he been vaccinated and went on a rant about how Covid-19 was a hoax. Everyone else in the salon was wearing a mask and I told him had I known masking was an issue, I wouldn't have made an appointment, wasted my time waiting, and was going to leave. He finally offered to go put a mask on. He went on a rant about Covid and I changed the topic to dogs and he went on a rant about how vet's were a rip-off, so I got him to talk about his dogs specifically. I love my haircut, but I don't think that I will risk dealing with another round of his opinion and having to constantly redirect h

Found a local shop near home that was highly recommended from a friend. Met Troy and he was thorough, courteous and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I have been going here for about 20 years and you don't get any better than Troy and Sharon Rakes! They are great hair stylists and even better people! His and Hers Rock!
