High Profile Barber & Stylist

I literally went to the shop last night and for a cut for me and my little one. My little one went first his haircut looked great. I told the barber I wanted the same but I got nothing. The barber cut my hair down in the back but the front was still hi and the tape up is not sharp. He used some kind of illusion with the razor but as I washed my face my haircut looks exactly like it did before I sat in the chair. I specifically stated this was my birthday haircut and how important it was to be on point. I paid $30 for me and my little one and I’m going to call the boss Alex about 9 am to inquire about a refund for myself. Never again. However Mr. Emory does a great job he was not there when I arrived. 💔

So I went to this barber shop and got a taper one day. The guy named A.J who see is in the right-hand corner as soon as you walk in with the dreads and gold teeth smelled like cigarettes and talks to much and plus went outside to talk to someone and left me in the chair sitting for 20 minutes and very unprofessional. He tried to cut my hair and rush me and I had to let him know that it was not the haircut I was looking for. He jack my hair up so bad and left me with cut and scars because I might skin that I had to get out my chair and have someone else cut my hair who was very helpful and I love my haircut after that and I will recommend going here because everybody was friendly and very professional besides him. I wouldn’t recommend going here. I’m new to Jacksonville and needed a cut so I stopped by this place. There was a full staff and even fuller customer seating area. I got there talked to the nearest guy about there being a line and he said he would get me in a chair soon. 5 minutes go by and I’m in the chair, with an older gentleman with short dreads and gold teeth. I was done in 2:37 and charged $30 for an all black out shape up. The “barber” reeked of cigarette smoke because he couldn’t stop talking in my face instead of cutting. He spent most of his time engaging i conversations rather than focused on my hair. He took no time and care for my hair cut. It was rushed and unprofessional. If you make a appointment certain barbers tell you they cant and will suggest to you a low ranking barber, the barbers want you to only be faithful to them so you're technically not allowed to see other barbers or you will get punished. Customers should pay for what they want the money is good, certain barbers are in there feelings. Im not into the politics i want a good cut and the barber you may want to cut your hair may turn you down.

Good shop first time there waited a bit long but was def worth it. Barbers know what they are doing and actually listens to the customer. Will def be going back think I may have found my new spot.
