I am displeased with my service here. When I first went to get my hair color changed, the stylist said she would not be able to despite agreeing previously over the phone. I asked if there was another stylist that would be able to do the color but she refused and said she could if we rescheduled. After we rescheduled, I had my appointment and it began at around 3 pm. We finished at around 9 pm. Throughout this time she had bleached and toned my hair multiple times to a point where I believed we were finally done but then she stated she would need to fix my roots. This took a whole nother bleach and toned process all for the roots to look too light to match with the color of the rest of my hair. Kelsey was amazing she did my hair and makeup for a wedding. I flew into NJ on Thursday at 5:40pm for a Friday wedding only to find out that my hair and makeup appointments were cancelled from another salon. The other salon owner did everything possible to find another salon for me. I had an amazing experience and grateful to both salons for making it possible to have my hair and makeup done. Very happy with the outcome!

If I could rate them less than a 1 I would. I am not usually one to write reviews, with that being said I own my part in not speaking up. Background: 2020 chopped all hair off and my young hairdresser passed. Did not get a haircut until 4 years later. I recognize hair grows back, but I have severe anxiety about hair dressers (and dentists). The hairdresser was more excited about being her "chop of the week", which I should have questioned. As I wanted to keep my length and take out weight and bulk. If Miss Hollywood had actually asked to review the pictures (more than once I offered), maybe she would have understood more. Honestly the worst experience I have ever had at a hair salon. EDIT: Even more disappointed that they can’t own up to Molly not being able to cut hair! I was not ONCE told “I can’t do this cut” or anything of the sort. Don’t you think I would have chose to not spend hundreds of dollars if I was told that what I wanted wasn’t possible? I can forgive a mistake with a bad haircut but lying outright to save face is actually funny and ridiculous. Telling me to call to ask how to style my hair isn’t going to fix bald patches and a jagged, poorly done job. Don’t lie, it’s not a good look👌🏼 I appreciate that the owner, Rachel, remained calm and professional but at the end, she harped on giving only a partial refund when the kind/right thing to do would be to refund the entire service as courtes

It took me a couple of days to think about whether I should add a review or not but here we go… I naturally have dark hair and wanted a slight change after consulting with the hairstylist I showed multiple pictures and videos to demonstrate that I wanted BROWN highlights. I ended up with red highlights which is definitely not what I wanted and found myself having a panic attack at realizing that the one chance I wanted to step out of my comfort zone from dark it became a hair failure. I’m contemplating just dying my hair back to black. Overall if you’re a colored woman or have textured hair I recommend doing extensive research in finding a hairstylist that can accommodate your texture and giving you the desired look you want.
