Today I left this salon fuming on the inside.I've never felt so disrespected by someone doing my hair before and I will just have to find someone else for my hair needs. Jonathan Stewart burns my scalp with a flat iron and I turn to notify him that he hit my scalp. He replies that's the heat and tell me to keep my head straight (as if it were my fault). I tell him I only turned my head to tell him that he burned my scalp and that I was straight other wise. He replies "I've been doing hair 25 years I would know if I burned you or not." So I've had this scalp 44 years and I know a burn from heat. I've been in healthcare 25 years I wouldn't tell my patients they don't know about their body because of my experiences. What do that have to do with what I felt ? I know pain when I feel it.That

Beyond troubling. Let me start off by stating Derickus is a great stylist and treats his clients with respect, however, the stylists under him are disrespectful. Kenchatta, for example, tried to charge me for two perms because my hair is thick. In all my years of getting a perm, I’ve never been charged for having thicker hair. Mind you, my hair is only neck length (a bob). After paying for two perms and saying I’d follow up with the owner, Dericuks, she promptly called me to refund the extra perm charge. In a separate instance, another stylist, Jonathan Stewart made me wait 2.5 hours past my appointment time before even addressing me just to refuse to service me a perm because it has been 5 weeks since my last perm. The original perm didn’t last very long and I was in dire need of a style

Marvelous, Impeccable Service from reception through my entire visit. Everyone from The Owner Mr. Crawford, every stylist, operator, technician,staff member is Cordial,Kind, Polite, Friendly Professional, Knowledgeable,Highly Skilled. Talented,gifted creative people are there in abundance ,working together under the guidance of Mr. Crawford.I felt so comfortable,cared about ,welcomed, accommodated ,and appreciated from start to finish!!!! I' m never disappointed with my service, treatment or style. Jonathan is my fantastic stylist!! May God continue to Bless Mr Crawford and every employee at this Phenomenal Salon.😇🙏♥️

I have found my forever stylist! Sonya and Derickus were so sweet, HOWEVER, let’s not forget the main reason that I traveled from VA to Charlotte, NC…MY HAIR. I cannot get enough of my cut — it’s so beautiful, plus I feel like myself again. Outside of my bomb.com hair, the salon is absolutely beautiful and the stylist & front-desk rep were all so personable. Thank you all for a wonderful experience! See you next time💞

Derickus and his Team are awesome! I have an amazing experience every time I visit the salon. During COVID, I feel comfortable going to his clean establishment. You can literally smell the cleaning products when you enter the door and everyone (Stylist and Clients) wear a mask! I leave feeling safe and with a look that has people stopping me about my fabulous hair!
