Rather long review but worthy read…. I Called this shop yesterday 12/29 around 11am to get my hair done in the half fulani half quick weave curls, for that day and was SO excited when I was told they had an opening. I Paid my deposit then washed and dried my own hair to prepare it for styling. I Got to the shop and in the chair and was asked where the hair was. On the booking website it states that hair was INCLUDED with the style unless otherwise told to bring hair. No one informed me that I’d need to bring my own hair so I didn’t. So I then left to go buy the hair, 2 packs of curly track hair. When I get back she proceeds with doing the style. I had the worst experience at this shop. I’m warning you all now, do not book this place. I took a chance and all the owner did was offer to waste my time for a second attempt. I had no trust in allowing anyone at that shop to re-do anything after the horrible experience. I asked for a knotless bob and was given back length braids. I was at this shop for over 10 hours for a style that should have taken a max of 4-5 hours. My middle part was so uneven! This was the ugliest I have ever seen my hair braided smh. I typically only go to African braid shops and that’s where I will continue to go. Don’t make the same mistake and allow this place to get in your hair.

My braider was such a sweet girl but my experience at this salon was just ridiculous. I arrived for my appointment just before 7AM. The only people at the salon were the owner and her kids, my braider was 20 minutes late. With the amount of time it took her to prep the hair and get her things set up, I wasn’t in the chair until 8AM. I was getting butt length small island twists which the website said should only take 6 hours. She took so many breaks and worked so slow that she didn’t finish my hair until after 8PM. I missed the nail appointment I had booked for that evening and I almost missed my wax appointment for 8:30 PM. (Mind you, my appointment was scheduled for 7AM-1PM.) My stylist was sweet and accommodating! My hair was beautiful and neat, came out just how I wanted it. I do recommend not scheduling other things day of your appt because certain styles take 10 - 11 hrs here which I didn’t know as this was my first time.

OMG! My stylist Kierra was AMAZING! She was VERY professional, welcoming and personal. And not to mention how neat my braids are…….those parts though 🤏🏽 I can’t wait to go back🫶🏼 PLEASE go and book Kierra, you will be glad you did. Tell her momma Tip sent you ❤️ DEFINITELY 10/10
