Henry Moore, DDS Dental Concepts of Homewood

This dentist is money hungry. When I went in for a routine cleaning, he stopped in the middle of my oral exam to tell me to pay $100 deductible in order to finish. I informed him that my deductible is to be paid to my insurance which I can do but if I don’t have a copay then I don’t need to pay him. He provided me with a bill for work that he hadn’t even done and told me to call my insurance right then to confirm whether I should pay them or him. Then they tried to say I couldn’t leave without paying them $100. Oral exam was never completed because the dentist had an attitude and bitewings were never done but he is billing my insurance for it. Horrible experience. Definitely will never be back.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the dental assistant during my last visit. Her demeanor was unprofessional, and at one point, she tossed the dental gear onto my chest, making me feel unwelcome. Due to this experience, I have decided not to return to this office. Dr. Moore is a nice person, and the two receptionists and the second dental assistant were friendly and professional. However, despite his efforts, Dr. Moore was unable to resolve my dental issue (Dr. Moore evaluated me for the same issue on three consecutive visits), and I now need to seek another provider for further evaluation and treatment. On 2/4/2025, I visited a different dentist in Hyde Park, where they took new X-rays of the same tooth Dr. Moore had treated. The results revealed a fracture that requires extraction

My search for a new dentist has finally ended, with the finding of Dr. Henry Moore, Homewood. Staff, personable and professional. Treatment facilities and equipment...modern and clean. Dr. Moore's service and attention, Excellent!!

Dr. Moore is a great dentist. He has helped me improve my oral health in a matter of two weeks. Dr. Moore and staff are very pleasant and make you feel comfortable. They share and explain every step of the services. The dental hygienist is warm and pleasant person.The front desk personnel is very pleasant and is very helpful with scheduling appointments and financial assistance.

The atmosphere is very friendly, accommodating. My cleanings are excellent and filling if needed is painless. Dr Moore makes you feel comfortable and all my dental needs have been done by him for the last fifteen years.
