Called the Daily Disgrace by locals. They stuff daily papers into your mail box. No door to door deliveries anymore. Their writing staff won't write about anything serious. For example the local town stopping a municipal election. Then passing an ordinance extending terms of office. Paid a $69 bill with my debit card. A $900+ tip was charge to my card for the delivery carrier. Had to call corporate and rain down words before getting a refund two weeks later. Felt obligated to pay in person. Finally decided the ordeal was just too much trouble. I cancelled service. Sad when you can use the local paper in a find the misspelled word exercise in the classroom.

I called over 5 times for Joyce Pernell about having an obituary done for my father and she couldn't even have the common courtsey to return a phone call. What a terrible way to show respect for the family members that pass. If you don't want to work and do your job you should get another job.

I'm only giving 2 stars because I know people that deliver the paper and they are nice. The rip-off of the online subscription service needs to be adjusted.

Still like the newspaper, but like everything else in the age of technology readership is down. They couldn't get enough people to deliver early in the morning.
