I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at Helen’s Nails in Union City was so frustrating and disrespectful, I have to warn others. First, my full set of nails popped off after just a week and a half. Not chipped, not cracked—completely came off, like press-ons from a drugstore. I paid for a professional job, and this was far from it. Worse, I got a gel pedicure that was completely ruined within two days—right before an important Indian wedding I was attending. Imagine trying to look put together for a multi-day celebration and your pedicure looks like it’s a week old after 48 hours. When I returned to politely explain the issue, hoping they’d stand behind their work, I was treated like garbage. No apology, no accountability, just attitude and defensiveness. Terrible experience at Helen’s Nails. My pedicure was completely botched—uneven polish, rough edges, and it looked like it was done in a hurry without any care. My wife’s nails were just as bad. They got the shape wrong, the polish was sloppy, and honestly, it looked like someone was practicing on her hands. For what they charge, this level of service is unacceptable. No attention to detail, no professionalism, and no accountability. We left frustrated and disappointed. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately, we had a really disappointing experience at Helen’s Nails. My pedicure was rushed and poorly done — the polish was uneven, and it didn’t last more than a couple of days. Even worse, they messed up my wife’s nails too. The shape was off, and the finish looked sloppy right from the start. We were hoping for a relaxing and quality service, but it felt careless and unprofessional. Definitely not what we expected, especially considering the prices. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

I had a pedicure yesterday, but it was not done well at all. The cuticles were not properly cleaned or pushed back at all, and the gel is already damaged and patchy.
