Just left from getting a 30 minute massage. Wanted the $30 service, but was talked into the $40 service. Massage was a little rough, but that was to be expected. Then after paying, the team member (middle aged woman) DEMANDED repeatedly that I give her a $10 tip. She got visibly angry and threw the tip I was able to give on the counter in front of me. (Again I was only planning to spend $30) I honestly should have taken it back. This service was a little treat for me and I should have just gone home, but I just needed pain relief . I just knew this shop would be great because I’ve been here many times before. This interaction was very disappointing and I probably won’t be coming back. I have been going to Helen’s body works several times a month for a few years. Today I decided I won’t be returning. I received a 60 minute massage and left a ten dollar tip. When I paid, she said only ten dollars. I responded you don’t tell people how to tip. Usually, I get a thirty minute and leave ten dollars so I usually over tip. A tip is customary but should not be approached in that manner. Bad customer service. Also, their massages are just convenient, not the best in the area.

I went to Helen's bodywork today. Lisa was my massage technician. She was fantastic. I will go back soon. I feel like a new person. I read the other reviews and understand the language gap is big. But treating each other with respect will make going here a pleasurable experience. Thank you Lisa

What a great massage. New staff. I did not have any issues with tipping. I left feeling very relaxed and refreshed
