Healing Touch Massage

I've been coming here monthly and have been pleased until this last visit. I texted ahead to set a appointment time. When I got there the therapist I usually see must have been with someone else as another lady came around the corner. As usual paid upfront and filled out the form. Escorted to the room and got ready for my massage. The massage started well but when I asked for extra work on my hip it suddenly took a different direction. It became all about her tip. I told her what I typically tipped but she wasn't happy with that and wanted almost double. I would not go with that and we were at a stalemate. Finished up and I got out of there. Massage was 6/10 $63 for what was supposed to be half an hour but she had to take time checking somebody else out which cut into my time about 10 minutes so I’d say I got about 23 minute massage which I was OK with didn’t complain. The massage itself Was decent at best then I got put down for not giving a good tip. They pressure you to tip more and more. I shouldn’t feel pressured she would have got a way better tip if I wasn’t pressured for it.

Not a good experience. When we arrive for our appointment that was booked in advance, they look irritated. They want us to give them our phone numbers and address. When I ask why the lady gets agitated and says it is for the police. We went ahead and proceeded with the appt. That was a mistake. Worst massage I have ever had. Then when I went to pay they were unhappy with the tip and actually told me to give them more. If the experience had been good I would have given them a generous tip. In my mind they were lucky to get one at all. My advice is to go to another place.

I went in for a last minute massage. I am also a LMT but didn't tell the person giving me a massage. The way things were run is not unusual for a Asian Style Massage buisness. Table with holes for you face instead of a headrest, drapping less conservative (but yes drapping) than how I practice but normal for this style of massage, multitasking running a buisness by phone and out front while giving a massage at the same time. The massage was okay but did the job. I was content with the outcome. I felt better. I have had some phenomenally admirable massages from Asian Style Massage places. Unbelievablely good talent in ways I hope I have but I know they do. Usually there is a language barrier but not always. Always an amazing experience. Therapist always seems to know exactly what area needs attention! I have become a regular client. I always feel so much better after my session. Nice facility, always clean and inviting. Easy to schedule appointment and get in when needing relief.
