I've gone here twice. First time I didn't get quite what I asked for, but It was okay so I thought maybe I'm the problem and I wasn't clear/assertive enough. It's easy to get distracted talking to the stylist about other things. So this time I made sure to periodically remind her what I wanted and got specific explaining where I want the layers to fall etc. When I told her she can go shorter with the top layers she mockingly said "like a mullet?" I just told her "yes" because she seemed to think I didn't actually want shorter pieces on top. She also told me what I want won't look good because I don't blowdry my hair. I tried to show her a pic of what I want but she said not to show her. I've had my hair styled like this before and when done correctly it looks great. Anyway the cut took FO

I’m extremely disappointed with this haircut. It’s nothing like what I asked for, and honestly, it’s a complete mess. The style is uneven, the length is inconsistent, and it just looks sloppy. I had high hopes, but this is definitely not the result I expected. It’s frustrating and a huge letdown. I feel like I’ve wasted my time and money, and I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

I recently moved to Hartford and found Headline-Hair close by and with high rating. I had decided to try this place out about 8 weeks ago. I went in with the intentions of lightening my hair into an ombre style which the stylist had warned that this would be a long process. I was okay with that and was more than satisfied with the results of my hair due to the state that it had arrived in. The stylist had advised me to come back in a couple of months to continue the lightening process. Fast FWD to 8 weeks later where I rebooked with the same stylist. Upon arrival, they had no idea who I was. I was confused but understood they may receive a lot of clients.
