Head Over Heels Salon

I requested a natural, lived-in golden blonde look, but what I got was chunky and brassy. On top of that, the stylist didn’t schedule enough time for my appointment, so I had to leave with damp unstyled hair. She saw multiple clients while I was left under the dryer, and as a result, I ended up with several fried sections of hair.

A stylist from this salon approached me in a local gym, told me my hair was frizzy and that I needed to come to her for a Brazilian blowout. “Not trying to be mean, just being honest” were her words, to be exact. Attempting to incite insecurities in others and then take advantage of said insecurities is not a classy business look. Overall, it was such a weird experience, as I’ve never spoken to this woman/stylist otherwise. If I ever were to consider getting a blowout however, I would not come here. I don’t appreciate the act of “girls supporting girls” while being backhanded and sleazy about it.

Hair stylist pushed my appointment by 15 minutes, so instead of 12pm it was scheduled for 12:15pm. I walked in and no one was at the front to greet me. Someone walked in but didn’t even acknowledge me, walked right past me. The hair stylist didn’t get there till about 12:40pm to take me. I was in there total of maybe 25 minutes. Hair shampooed & hair trimmed/cut within that time frame. For $75 you’d think they’d shampoo & condition my hair a little longer? I don’t think the hair stylist is used to cutting long hair? Left the salon as if I could cut my hair myself. They also take a pre payment, when you book with them online, which I found odd.

This salon is the cutest place! The vibes are perfect. Katelyn is simply so amazing and talented. Definitely somewhere you feel comfortable and welcomed!

10/10 stars. These girls are so friendly and Cecily did fantastic job with my blonde-ing! Definitely recommend.
