HBSL

I wanted to get a pixie cut because I missed my short hair. I went to HBSL for the first time today and I absolutely LOVE my new haircut!!!!! Shawna did an AMAZING job on my hair!! I enjoyed the atmosphere in the salon. Everyone was very nice and chill. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you, Shawna!!!! 💜

Never going back there again. I had to come back and leave a review. I went in august 23 and ask for my damage heat ends to be trimmed. The cut and twist was great healthy curls popping 1st day. Probably after week or two when I needed to manipulate my hair and refresh twist I could visibly notice my hair is UNEVEN on one side. I have NEVERRR had uneven hair after a cut or trim. Just terrible bad haircut will not go back. The trauma and frustration I endured

Very unprofessional, and not respectful of their clients time at all. Time management needs a lot of work. As a stylist you know how long each style takes to be completed to take your next client. Got finger locks on Monday, appointment was supposed to be 10:30 didn’t get into the chair until 11:45. She had 2 other people before me. Cool. But, she was also distracted, seemed she was trying to pay a bill or something. Stayed under the dryer for an hour for semi permanent. Then I gave that day a benefit of the doubt. I brought my 2 daughters to get their hair done. Scheduled them at 9am with two different stylist to ensure I was out by at least 2is or 3. Jay the barber was awesome, made sure to ask me throughout my haircut my opinion on how I would like certain areas. Didn't want me to just like my haircut, but to love it as well. I went for m looking like a shaggy dog, to super spiffy. He was also super friendly and professional as well as Courtney at the front counter when I came in

So this was my first time going here. It was clean and everyone was mostly kind. My stylist was Shawna. While the end result was a cute look, I honestly could have cried. I walked in with a full head of beautiful, natural, long hair and just told her I wanted it to be more manageable. I even said “the way your hair looks is perfect”. Which to me looked like a relaxer and trim. But before I could really even say much else, she’s taking clippers to the back of my head. I don’t like drama, or to cause a scene, so I thought to myself, “well I guess I’m getting a REAL haircut”. I just wish she would have checked in with me first before doing something soo drastic. My scalp was already sore from the relaxer, and I didn’t like the way she was digging the comb into my head to brush down my edges.
