some of the best and longest lasting manicures i’ve ever had. their retention goes crazy, every fill has lasted at least 4 weeks (and I am a healthcare worker who is not kind to my hands!) plus pricing is fair, they are efficient, and the staff is kind and professional!

When you’re booking, it says liquid gel but after calling they confirmed it was hard gel. I thought it would be on my natural nails but they did extensions/tips (ig my natural nails weren’t long enough?). Also they didn’t push back my cuticles when prepping which o thought you were supposed to do to help nails last longer? I think it could’ve made a difference as my nails grew with the design. The nails turned out fine though I wish the color could’ve been more seamless near the edge of the extensions (you can kind of see in the picture). Finally, they don’t tell you there’s an extra fee when you pay with card until you go up to pay which I feel like you should be made aware of when booking or before your appointment at least.

Regular manicure— Nail tech was friendly but moved at a rapid pace— she was too aggressive with my cuticles which lead to bleeding. Went to pay the $20 cash (that is listed on both their website AND in-store menu) but was told it’s $25 + tip. Wendy mentioned she is well aware & it’s been the case for months, but they haven’t updated. It was busy and seemed like a lot of repeat customers go there and enjoy their services so maybe it’s just my experience.

I've visited Hawthorne Nails 3 times now and I've walked away happy every time. 🥰 Not only do my nails look fantastic, but they last! I had extensions put on with the nails that have the black tips and then the other colors (the purple and the Valentine nails) are just gel refills. The tips were put on 12/23/22 and I just had my color refilled for the 2nd time yesterday which was 2/8/23. The salon is nice and clean and everyone is so nice. Wendy did all 3 of my manicures and she is phenomenal. Wendy has a great attention to detail and she makes sure everything has a uniform shape. I'm so glad they opened up in my neighborhood too. I would highly recommend setting up and appointment. They can get a little busy, but making appointments is easy. You just do it through their website.

I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon yesterday. I went in for dip powder nails and was initially met by a friendly nail tech. However, things quickly went downhill from there. Firstly, I asked her kindly to push back my cuticles (to make sure my nail shape was even at the top), and she assured me she would later, but never did. When she asked if she could cut my nails, I replied yes, but just a tiny bit since I wanted to keep growing them out. However, she cut them much shorter than that and later aggressively filed them down even further throughout the dip application. When she initially began filing my nails, I noticed she was filing down the corners all the way to my skin. I then asked her not to file down the corners any further because it can be painful once my nai
