Hawa African Hair Braiding

Please people research the places you go to get your hair done. I made an appointment there is no store front to this place so you don't even know if you're there. The " braider" named Fatu comes down and leads me up into a dirty stair case that's looks abandoned. You get in there and it is so suspect that I should have followed my first mind and left. Looks like she set up a braid chair in a dirty living room with sealing tiles falling down and water stained . I was a uncomfortable. She is answering here phone on every single ring and stopping from parting my hair to do so. I ask her about 3 times how much will it be and she told me she would have to see. So never got a answer on that. The last time she was on her phone a young lady was trying to find the front door. Just like I was .the

Momma did my boho knotless braids and for the braids she did a good job I did go home and curl and dip the ends. The ends of the curly hair ended too short of how long the braids were. These are medium knotless. When I called I asked for braids to my waist and I was quoted one price and then when I got there and it was time to pay, I was given a different price because of the length and as you can see in the picture the hair is way past my waist. Being pregnant I wasn’t too happy with that extra length It was a lot to handle but they came out nice overall

Let me just say the place is the most filthy braiding shop that I have seen. It is small and once you get in the chair the people waiting are almost literally sitting on top of your lap. I asked for medium knotless and you can literally see where my hair was plated and where she added the feeder hair. I didn’t ask for extra long length and it is passed my waist length. The parts are not straight and I feel like the person braiding my hair was rushing because she left for the evening mid way through my hairstyle and I had to wait for the next braider to get done with her client. The style was supposed to be biggger and thicker braids and it looks a mess.

Love their work I have been coming to Hawa since Micro Braiding started way back when and I have no issues

They are rude!! They do your hair how they want now, they charge high with HORRIBLE service ! This lady took ten breaks on my ten year old hair! She was lazy, a did I say rude ?! Shut hawas down
