Haven Hot Springs Motel

Great place for a quick getaway out of town! The rooms are rustic but clean and quaint. Geothermal heat keeps a livable temperature at night- but heaters are in the rooms for backup/extra heat. The pools are great and the reservations are a perk. Each room has it's own private small soaker in the back. My only suggestion would be hooks on the walls for multiple towels & coats. 😊 There is a great bar/restaurant down the road with excellent service and pizza!

Went up with a friend to use the pools for a few hours and it was great! Love that you can pay to reserve it to yourself for blocks of time with no interruptions of other people. Each pool had a bit more algae than is normal from what I heard, but it didn't affect the temperature of the water obviously so we didn't mind! Will definitely be back!

I loved the big, open hot springs pool when I went in 2018. It was great. I reserved soak time in Nov. 2021 and found they had created multiple pools of varying temperatures partitioned off with cinder blocks, within the overall big pool. The first pool is too hot to stay in very long and other pools are too cool. The cooler water from the rest of the big, overall pool comes in and mixes poorly/unevenly with the partitioned pools. It depends on where you stand whether you will be in warm water or not. There was a lot of slick algae on the concrete and cinder block steps into the pools, making it dangerous and slimy. I don't like soaking in algae-ridden water. I was all alone in the dark trying to enjoy my brief reservation window and people from the hotel came into the pool area trying

It was off season. Making the reservation and finding the place went well. However we weren't sure where the pool was once we got there. We used their telephone to figure out that it was up to the left of the motel. We didn't stay at the motel. Not sure if they would have let us use the bathroom there if we had asked, since there was only a changing room at the pool. The food place is closed during off season. The pool is shaded in the morning and the evening. There is just a hint of a sulfer smell which we really didn't notice until we got home and showered. It is split into 3 sections for different Temps. We stayed in the hottest spot the whole time.

We had a great time soaking in the pool! Perfect temperature, we were able to stay in it the whole 2 hours. And we watched a herd of deer walk by and a curious fox was checking out our dog! Nice little changing room too.
