James is fantastic! He was attentive, accommodating, he understood what I wanted, and absolutely hammered my hair cut! Thank you, James, I appreciate the awesome cut and the good conversation.

James is excellent at what he does. He immediately makes you feel like a long time friend. He is great at his craft, and gives honest feedback! There is an all is welcome here vibe with a comfortable setting, and he has serious hair skills!

I live in Charleston and drive 2 hours to let James cut my hair. And there are a lot of great stylists in Charleston, so that should be a testament to how exceptional James is. He is a truly SKILLED professional. I’ve been coming to him exclusively for around 6 years now, and as long as he’s doing hair, I’ll be loyal to the end. Always a REALLY nice, clean cut, and I ALWAYS get compliments. Plus, he’s good people all around. Personally, if you care about your cuts/color, I’d recommend driving from anywhere in South Carolina to visit Harrison James Salon. It’s quality every time.

I’ve been coming to James for more than 5 years now! I followed him from his old salon to James Harrison, because he’s the best! Nobody has ever colored my hair as well as James, and I’ve been getting my hair colored for 15 years. He actually listens to the style/look you want and executes it perfectly every time. He’s incredibly talented, has an amazing eye for color, and skilled with both women and mens’ cuts/style. James is never rushed and takes the time to listen.
