Maxine did an awesome job with my hair! I wanted something natural looking that would be low maintenance, she took my vague request and did a great job both with the color and with the cut. I have really flat/straight hair that looks terrible if stylists go crazy with the layers or razor cutting, so I really appreciate finding someone who knows how to cut fine hair! The salon space itself has a welcoming vibe and everyone there was friendly. Highly recommend!

Hare is hands down the BEST place to get a cut in Philly. It's cute, warm, and all of the stylists are super talented and cool. I get my hair done by Alexa, and never had a bad cut or color by her in the last 5+ years I've been going to her. I prefer a low-stim environment for a relaxing time away from parenting duties, and this place delivers -- I always leave Hare very refreshed and beautiful!

I’ve struggled to find a hair salon that I liked until now!!! Rachel was very nice when I wanted to change my original appointment which made me even more excited to try the salon. Today, my stylist Marti understood what I looking for after showing her just one photo! She checked in with me throughout the haircut to make sure I was liking it. Love their quality hair products too. Overall amazing & highly recommend!!

I really can’t say enough good things about Hare and Alexa especially. The whole vibe is exactly what I was looking for - chic but still low key without trying too hard. And Alexa truly listened to all my hair woes and more than delivered. Felt super comfortable and booked my next appointment before I left which, for me, is a big deal.
