Great haircut for a great price. Lisa is so fun to talk with. She really takes her time and pays attention to detail. Why pay the same price (or more) at a chain salon that tries to get you in and out in 10 minutes? I love all the neighborhood history and photos she has on the wall.

For my husband and I, our first venture out since lockdown: excellent all around! Rachel (the barber/hairdresser) was quick, calm, friendly and professional, sanitized everything before and after. We felt safe. And we now look much better than we did! Rachel is a rare barber who truly understands curly hair.

First haircut out of the box since COVID-19, AND the stylist who had been cutting my hair since the '90s realized that his back didn't hurt anymore when he stopped cutting everyday. So he retired. I'm ecstatic that he gets to pursue his artwork, but I was more than a little bit wigged about making a change. Rachel is solid, she's professional, she's personable she listens well, and she wants to make this her thing for the rest of her career. I'm all over that. GO RACHEL! (Did I mention that she did a phenomenal job of cutting my hair?)

Lisa was super friendly and thorough, and she was really engaged with me the whole hour (!) she spent on my hair. I came in having only a vague idea if what I wanted and she made it look snappy and professional and fun, just like I hoped and just in time for some professional photos to be taken. Highly recommend this little joint in Dogtown!

Rachel is a truly skilled barber. She puts her customers wishes first, while offering her expert advice. As well, we always have great conversation when I am in her chair. A well deserved 5 Stars. You’re doing great... ;-)
