I got my hair bleached here today and the color turned out nice at first, but the experience after I went home was really upsetting. When I started touching my scalp, I found a bunch of hard, crusty pieces stuck all over. I went to a doctor to check, and it turned out they were LITERALLY BLEACH left on my scalp. Removing them was painful, my scalp was irritated, and some spots were actually bleeding. This was really disappointing and honestly felt unsafe and really expensive. I wish the stylist had rinsed my hair properly and checked my scalp before sending me off. I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but this was serious and caused actual injury. :/ This will be the last time I stop by

Very disappointed with our visit. We brought our family of five in and were charged the same price for kids as adults, which wasn’t clearly communicated. We also weren’t told they had appointments booked and couldn’t take us until after we had already waited about 30 minutes. That should have been mentioned upfront so we could decide whether to stay or leave. Not a great experience.

PSA: You really need to schedule an appointment in advance by calling them, else you will wait quite some time. This is where the negative reviews about waiting time come from I’ve been coming here for 5+ years, and getting my haircut with happy for ~10 years, my family drives almost an hour every month to get their hair cut here! My favorite thing to do is to just ask Happy to do whatever hairstyle he thinks would look good, and it’s always been great!

I decided to try this place since I was in town and was looking to get a trim. Happy gave me what I was looking for and I definitely came out feeling great! He really takes his time and works hard to make sure sections are even and precise, and I appreciate that.

I had a bad experience, similar to Valerie who recently left a 1-star review. I requested color and highlights, but the stylist left bleach on my hair for an excessive amount of time. After 4 hours, my highlights turned out gray —completely different from the photo I showed him. I was furious, and the owner ended up toning my hair to a dark brown. I left the salon unsatisfied after nearly 5 hours. Now, my hair is extremely dry and damaged.
