Happy Barber

My partner went for a regular haircut. He only asked for a hair cut, not a beard trim but got a beard trimmed anyway. He doesn't speak Vietnamese. And it was my fault not translating to him when they were speaking in Viet about what they would charge him. He got charged $4 for a beard trim he never asked for. I'm not discussing about the quality of their work, nor the price of the service. I just don't agree with the forced service without prior agreement. When we came, the guy on the right corner took us in, and he's capable of speaking English.

I would definitely give it a “Zero” and not even a 1 star. I had the worst experience with my haircut ever. I told him that I just want a regular haircut and a dyeing hair because I had too much gray hair. He simply does not understand and care. Instead, he just did his own way. He does not speak English that well but that doesn’t matter because doing a haircut is universal understanding, and that is doing a great job and makes your customer happy.

They often do a good job with haircuts, but they cannot speak English very well and become upset if you try to direct your haircut. My major complaint was that although they advertise their haircuts for $6, they will often charge a higher price at the end for random reasons. They charged me a total of $8 since they used some hairspray! They even charged me $8 another time because I told the barber to redo my cut since it wasn't the one I asked for - she considered it extra service. None of these additional things have prices listed either, they like to spring it on you at the end. Overall, I am satisfied with my haircuts here but I won't be coming back due to their dishonest business practices.
