Hannah African Hair Braiding

Unfortunately I won't be returning to this braid shop. My daughter had a bald spot after the owner and a young woman gave her knotless box braids. Noticed the bald spot the evening they did her hair. My daughter cried alot which was a sign I should have caught. Won't happen again. I paid $130 for someone to give my 6 year old a bald spot.

The braider who worked on my hair was so heavy handed. I made hints to her to ease up on handling me so rough. She just said, "Sorry" and continued as she had been without making any adjustments to her aggressive touch. It was so bad that I could no longer just bear it and suffer in silence, but I made the sounds of pain and even yelled, "Ouch" as my face was wrinkled the entire time in pain. None of my actions or complaints made any difference to her at all. The prices are totally inflated compared to other African braid shops. The style that I, my mother and daughter got should've easily been $50 for each of us. Instead my mother and I were charged $70 each and my daughter was charged $60. So, since they want to try and be slick with spiking the prices, that took care of any tips that w

You don't always get the style you asked for done correctly. Crooked parts or uneven braids in your head and when you ask them to to fix it you are given a whole lot of attitude. It's happened more than once and I tried to give them a chance by returning, but I refuse to go back and have to keep correcting them on how to do their job. Nor should I be served attitude when the job isn't done right. I don't recommend this shop. Found another shop closer to my house and the owner is amazing and so are her braids.

Had driven by this location & took a pic of the door for contact info. Called on 10/24/24 & ask if I could walk in at 8am. The owner said yes but to come at 9 as she wasn't there yet. I get there at 9 and the biz is still closed. At 9:11am another braider came and opened the door. There were a couple of other ladies waiting as well. I get inside and about 3 to 5 minutes later the owner enters. I had already sent 2 pics that would create the style I wanted, a mohawk with cornrows on the sides. I waited... They are calling to find someone to do the style I requested...I ask if they need me to come back, they say no, "someone is on the way". These ladies are the truth! I got my hair braided yesterday and they are so everything and more! They were friendly and fast! I can’t wait to rerun in a few weeks. Great job ladies!
