Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I have been going to Hand & Stone in Poughkeepsie, NY since it first opened back in 2014. It grew in popularity and is Massage Envy's competitor. At the time it opened I was a member of Massage Envy and was not completely satisfied. The terms of their contract was deceptive, and their selection of massage therapists was left to be deisred. There was only one that I really liked, and that person decided to move to Florida. That's when H&S hit the scene. At the time their start up membership was $49.95 and there was no contractual requirement except to pay the monthly fee so I joined. There were many wonderful therapists of men and women to choose from. They have upgraded their perks to include a points rewards system, upgrades to your packages, and an attention button if you feel unsafe. I

I couldn’t wait to leave the parking lot to leave this review. I just received the BEST massage from Jessie! She asked me what was bothering me upon arrival, and really found everything that was hurting me and educated me throughout the process. Not only i feel better i now know what i can do to prevent so much discomfort in the future. Im a solo operator of a landscape/snow removal company and I'm ready to get back in h the field lol.. thank you so much! -MurphysLawnInc.

From the minute I get through the door I am greeted by smiling faces. The girls are so accommodating and I never feel pressured by upsales or rushed. Sophia has been a blessing she has kept my skin glowing and im in my 60's!! Sometimes im quiet sometimes we chat the whole time and she can read the room and pivots to my needs Its my self care and she is my favorite!

Amazing as always. I have always had the best facials here, Julie, Oksana and Angelina have always been so good and informative on what products I should be using. I always look forward to my monthly facials.

I got my mom a gift card for a massage ($150 I believe) & she told me it was NOTT worth it. She described the experience as a “lazy service” and that the room felt like a doctors office. The massage was not good either. I feel bad because I really wanted her to feel relaxed and to enjoy her expirience but she didn’t :/. The price is honestly reasonable since most massage parlors are around that same range but the service/aesthetic DOES need to match the amount, if not then it’s not worth it.
