Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

4/3 Update; they want me to call their office in Manalapan. Which I am not sure how that is going to help since I already told the staff at the front desk that I was unhappy. Don’t go to this location or branch. There are so many other options and will charge less and they will actually give you a massage and be professional. I recently visited Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa - Manalapan for a 50-minute massage with CBD oil and hot stones, along with a scalp aromatherapy add-on. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. During the service, the therapist dropped one of the hot stones on the floor. I had clearly requested medium pressure, but she applied almost no pressure at all. It felt like oil was simply being spread over my body rather than receiving a therapeutic

I’m currently in my first trimester and dealing with seasonal and hormonal flare-ups of eczema, so I’ve been extra anxious about skincare treatments. MELISSA has been absolutely amazing! She’s so knowledgeable and reassuring, making sure that every product and technique she uses is safe for both mother and baby. Her facial is incredibly soothing, and she tailors to my sensitive skin’s needs. On top of that, Melissa gave the best shoulder, neck, and head massage— such a treat for any expecting mom! I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and confident that my skin is in the best hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled, thoughtful, and caring facial therapist.

I’m sorry to post this review as my aesthetician was extremely friendly but $250 is not what I paid for for a friend friendly interaction. My appointment was yesterday, December 6. I had a 5 PM diamond facial. I wasn’t taken back until 502 by the time I sat down after a small talk and getting dressed, it was 510 during my facial my aesthetician discussed with me everything that is going on in her personal life from her husband to her children to what she used to do when she was younger to treatment treatments she has gotten The conversation never ended. It was ongoing for my entire procedure. There was not one second that I got a chance to relax. At 5:52 I was told I was done 15 minutes is over. The facial was not a full 50 minutes and it was the most un relaxing experience I’ve ever had.

Booked my appointment with Beccs, who was super friendly and accommodating. My massage therapist was Eric. Amazingly professional and great understanding of the body. Helped me with a locked-up shoulder and recommended a follow-up plan for continued success and strengthening.

I don't get facials that often, but when I do I always book with Gigi at H&S Manalapan. I have been seeing her for a few years and always leave looking and feeling refreshed. My skin was pretty run down after traveling last week so I knew it was time to make an appointment, can't recommend Gigi enough.
