The best part is that the staff is wonderful with conflict resolution! Super professional and helpful. Unfortunately, the therapists have a wide range of skills. Meaning, some seem to be entry-level massage therapists, and others seem to be more seasoned therapist. Which makes a bunch of sense, but unfortunately, they won’t tell you if you are being booked with someone who is newer to the field. This is at least my assumption, because the massage was not as great as I was hoping for. Similar to another review by Carly, even if you booked for deep pressure there’s a chance you won’t get it, maybe because of miscommunication or because the therapist isn’t capable. I have always had an amazing time at this location. I've been going here for 6+ years and have always had a lovely experience. I have had almost every single therapist and esthetician and have had a wonderful experience every time. During covid, I had to freeze my membership and the owner was extremely helpful and supportive. Every front desk worker has always answered my questions promptly and efficiently. I only come here for massage and facials and cant wait till my next appointment! 10/10 would recommend.

"Alicia" is amazing at the Englewood Hand & Stone location. She is very nice and asks you when you first met her what amount of pressure you want when receiving a massage, which is great when you like a little bit more pressure when getting massages. She's very thorough with the muscle bodies and spends a lot of time getting light kinks out so you can relax more (at least that's been my experience). I highly recommend her!!

Have been a member for a number of years with generally good results. The last 2 facials have been disastrous. Currently my face is burned and swollen from the facial. The same tech injured my eye last month (my bad for going back to the same person). She is ok with the classic facial but clearly doesn’t know what she is doing with any of the up charged facials. And the cherry on top is I finally cancelled my membership and they charge you for one more package. Injured and disappointed

I’ve been a member of Hand & Stone for years now, and specifically asked not to be scheduled with a certain masseuse at the Englewood location after truly the worst massage I have ever had and to my surprise when I came in today I was scheduled with him. They told me he was deep pressure on the phone when I scheduled (I didn’t remember his name) however, I would not say that his pressure is anything more than a Swedish massage, if that. I decided to give him a second chance when I realized who it was in person as I didn’t want to just walk out then and there. I made it clear that I wanted deep pressure at the beginning of the massage - he said that was great - he then continued to ask me if I wanted a deeper pressure several times within 5 minutes and I said yes every time.
