I honestly HATE leaving negative reviews, but my experience with Hand Over Knot was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I originally scheduled a massage with the owner, Janine, for a specific time. She confirmed it, and then bailed on the appointment. I tried to be understanding and gave her another chance the following week. That second appointment turned into an absolute mess… she changed my appointment time three separate times and then ultimately canceled again. I let it slide because she said she had just moved into a new location and was still getting things organized, I practiced patience and decided to give it one more chance which I ultimately ended up regretting. Janine is in a class of her own . The mastery of the craft she is expertly able to perform is beyond anything I’ve experienced as a professional athlete. Her healing is life saving. The absolute top of the industry is Janine. Her art is a must see. All Praise

I’ve had countless massages in my life all over the world but my first session with Janine today I can honestly say was the best without question. I will only go to her from now on.

Best massage of my life. I saw Janine. She quickly zeroed in on a bunch of knots I didn't even know I had, and there were several moments where I could feel the tension in my muscles just melt away. She checked in regularly, was really good at explaining why she was doing what she was doing, and gave friendly warnings when things might get a little painful beforehand. I felt very safe, comfortable, and the reminders to breathe were really nice.

Janine works hard to make the customer feel comfortable. She knows muscle groups and techniques to relieve muscle pain and stiffness.
