Hammer & Co. Barbershop (Davenport)

It was my first time there and everyone was incredibly nice. Kels was great at showing me how to trim my first big boy beard. We also went through my daily routine and made a few tweaks! You cannot go wrong coming here. Ask for Kels. She's very patient and answers all of my question. I'm one very happy customer.

I've been here a lot over the past few years. I've always had a good experience with skilled barbers who are friendly and creative with hair. I'm not good at detailing how I want my hair, but they do a fantastic job anyway. I recently had Kelsey cut my hair and she did a great job! Price was very fair too.

My step son got his haircut yesterday at this location with his father. Before hand i called to set up an appointment. I explained to the guy that answered the phone the type of hair he has and what style my step son was looking for. They assured that they had multiple barbers who can achieve the look he was looking for and can work with scissors. When I got home I noticed this was not the case. The hair is extremely uneven. I will post pictures so you can see what I mean. I tried to bring him back for them to fix it but the barbershop is closed on Sundays. He has been crying the entire night due to how bad it came out. I now had to pay another barber another 30 more dollars to fix it. This is such an inconvenience now spending 60 dollars for a kids haircut is ridiculous. I wish the gentl

I asked for them to only even out the top of my hair and only cut it a quarter inch max, and to only drop the sides 1.5-2 inches, but they dropped both of them by almost four inches. The time before this they trimmed my beard way too far up my ear without even asking. I would not go here ever again if you have any real length of hair. My hair grows incredibly slow, so now I have to wait another 6 months just to grow it back to its previous length. The only reason I went back was because the guy who cut my hair the first time went to a different shop, so I figured that the next person I’d get would be better.

We called the store not even an hour ago and asked if they can take my a walk in . Mentioned on the phone he could come in now or at 11:45 the latest . Not even 5 min later we walked in and told us they couldn’t take us. We informed we were coming in . I asked if they could find a way to fit him in because we have a trip to Miami in a few hours the whole reason why we called ahead. He told us it was supposed to be 11:45 . Sir we have to be out of town at 12 that doesn’t work. Now we are looking around last minute to another barber shop. Will not be back very disappointed after being a be back customer. Not only you wasted out time and the gas but really pissed us off do better do not recommend
