I love this place! Nancy has been doing my hair for over 20 years, and she’s the best! I would not let anyone else touch my hair. She gives the best highlights and color ever! Halo also carries a great selection of Aveda and Hempz products for home at reasonable prices.

I was super optimistic going into the salon because all of the reviews were amazing but I was immediately thrown off guard by the owner. She was very rough with my hair, didn’t give me what I asked for & the shampoo was honestly the worst one I have ever received. She was openly talking bad about another employee there & made me feel very uncomfortable. Being here in Newton there’s not a ton of options but I definitely won’t be returning here. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Very clean and friendly. They do great work and are very reasonably priced. I usually cut my hair short but my wife daughter's get alot of different stuff done and they always look great!

Nancy is the best stylist! She genuinely cares about what her customers want and she is the only stylist who has gotten my hair to hold color. The cut is always amazing and lays perfectly even when I just blow it dry. I also love the selection of cruelty free Aveda products (because there is nothing pretty about testing cosmetics on animals)! The atmosphere is great and the service is great! But don't take my word for it - give them a try!

Nancy is the owner and a wonderful stylist! She also gives a beautiful brow wax. I also love the selection of Aveda products as I have always used Aveda, and if she is out of something she will order it for you!
