Hall of Fame Barbershop

We have always gone to Bville Barber shop, but with no appointments the wait time is insane, especially for kids. Although we love them, we needed a place that scheduled appointments, worked faster, and gave decent hair cuts. YOGI is our guy! We scheduled our appointment online and he got us in and out in no time, the option to pay in person, or online is so nice! He interacts with the kids, asks what they want, and confirms with the parents. He is talkative and involved with the kids. Yesterday we were greeted by his new puppy, making the visit even that much better! These guys can do anything, just stop on it and check it out for yourself!

If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would. I was recently visiting Baldwinsville and decided to stop by Hall of Fame Barbershop to reconnect with my former barber and schedule an appointment due to my job I travel all year round. Upon entering, I was not acknowledged or greeted by anyone for approximately 20 minutes. The staff appeared disengaged, sitting on their phones and having unrelated conversations, which created an unwelcoming and unprofessional atmosphere. Additionally, I found the owner’s behavior concerning. The owner spoke negatively about my former barber and their family, which I felt was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Hall of Fame Barbershop, I see the owner strive his best to make this place a successful environment for his customers and stylists. Making this place a great safety to the Baldwinsville Community. It is newly renovated especially the cuts they have to offer. Highly Recommend.

This place has fallen down hill! Went to go get my son’s hair cut with Yogi this weekend for his upcoming birthday. The shop was all black and closed. I later found out the owner of the establishment fired everyone with no notice to the employee or the clients. Absolutely absurd and no way to run a business. Yogi was an amazing barber and the only one able to cut my son’s hair! You should feel shame for your actions as an owner. I would never come back if this place opened back up because you never know the owner could just close again with no warnings.

I’ve been going to Yogi for a few years now at the time of this post. He’s been a pillar of this barber shop, first to open, last to close. The model of an employee any good owner or ownership would strive to hire. Awhile back, Yogi went through a health scare and was unable to work for a few weeks. As soon as Yogi could, he returned to work trying to maintain some semblance of normalcy for his loyal customers. Despite it all, this shop and Yogi had to deal with no A/C during the summer months. Air pressure issues with their air pumps. Heating issues as the weather is now getting colder. And multiple other issues, honestly too many to list. The employees got together and asked for manageable working conditions to which the owner, laid them all off. And in a final act of cowardice, moved al
