I really wanted to support this business. As a member of this community, I intentionally chose to shop here because it’s a small, Black-owned hair store. Unfortunately, from my very first visit about a year ago, the experience was disappointing. The selection is extremely minimal — very basic supplies, not much variety — but I overlooked that because my goal was to support a growing local business. What I could not overlook was the treatment. During my initial visit, I felt scrutinized and watched in a way that was unnecessary and uncomfortable. I am a professional woman in a lucrative career and had absolutely no reason to feel suspected or profiled while simply shopping. The owner is extremely unfriendly and follows you around like she thinks you are stealing, she is very unhelpful and will let you buy things that are broken or opened without checking them first, when I informed her that and I almost broken before buying it, she said that she was glad I noticed before I walked out of the store because they have no return or exchange policy. Unfortunately, I've had to go here a few times because there are no other hair stores in the area that have the things I need, but their prices are so high that I would rather order on Amazon on instead of going to this hair store

It smells like poop in this place, it’s very small, somewhat cluttered and the staff wasn’t very friendly. Not a very wide variety and selection of products.

This store is one the best wig stores to order from. I live in North Carolina and wasn't able to locate a certain wig and they had it in stock. Not only was my order easy to buy, but it came within the same week. I am super impressed by the wig I bought and I will let people know to order here!

This business needs to update their opening time. This is the second time I go there and they are not open and it 2 hours before closing time. Just frustrated because as a black woman I want to support a beauty supply store owned by a black woman...but I guess I am heading to New tampa. I am definitely not wasting my time to come here again.
