Hairline Beauty Supply

I went in on July 31st to get a wig. I showed the girl exactly what wig I wanted and the color. She handed me the box and I bought the wig. I arrived home to see that they gave me the wrong wig in the right box. I returned to the store and although it’s their mistake they refused to give me a refund or exchange it. Mind you I did not wear the wig at all. I have been a loyal customer since they opened however I will not be going back after today.

TERRIBLE!!! Recently I had a disheartening experience with this establishment. The worst part of it is that had been a loyal customer for over 6 years and one interaction completely overshadowed this. As an Asian-run business servicing the black community and specifically Black women, you would think they would show their consumer base more respect, unfortunately, that is not the case. I went into this store on a Sunday and rushed to purchased Marley hair to finish my hair to go to an event. One hour later I realized I picked up color 27 instead of the 30 I meant to because they were so similar. The only issue is when buying the clip on hair you can't buy multiple packs because according to one of the workers they have one pack of each. The main beauty supply downtown is definitely the best option if your buying hair.

This was my favorite beauty supply store in Worcester until today (3/7/2025). The exact same thing that some of the reviews from years ago say happened to me also. Rather than racist, I’ll say that its ignorance. The reason they won’t engage with their customers is probably because they don’t know much English, despite the fact that they probably been living this country long enough to know the language. This causes them to treat every other person who walks into the place as a thief, especially the black man. I’m not from Worcester, I’m from a predominantly black city in the south, and I visited almost every store in Worcester before deciding to have this one be my go to spot, because of the convenience of the parking lot, plus it reminds me of the stores in my hometown more so than any o
