What a magical experience here. Now I love massages, acupuncture, cold plunges, and saunas for bodywork self care. We don't typically consider a haircut to be amongst these options when you need something for stress reduction, but with Lauren it absolutely is. No other hair salon will compare after this experience! Every detail is thoughtfully considered in her salon. I really loved the customization of your experience--you fill out a thorough questionnaire before you arrive to have a say in type of music, scents, optional salon add-ons, and even the energy/conversation vibe for your visit! The lighting was easy on the eyes too (no BIG light till the end), which I really appreciated. My hair ideas were listened to and Lauren offered her suggestions and vision. Beyond my fabulous haircut Lauren’s studio is always relaxing and welcoming. She takes care to remember my scent and sensory preferences enhancing the experience.

I found Lauren through a Reddit suggestion, and I’m glad I did. From the start she’s clearly professional and organized, as she has a very thorough list of questions she asks before even meeting you, to understand your hair history and goals. Right off the bat, I felt like I was heard and was being set on the right path. I went in for service and got exactly what I expected, from color to style! Watching how my hair has grow out since my appointment, it’s still kept the shape and style and is still so beautiful as it grows out as well. Not only that, but getting to spend time in Lauren’s chair in and of itself was very therapeutic. She’s an empathetic soul and really makes the entire appointment an Experience with a capital E. I felt like I walked out with a new friend, not just a stylist.

Lauren is one of the best hair stylists you’d ever meet, you can tell how passionate she is about her work and how much she cares about what she does. She listens to every little thing you like and dislike and helps you make your vision come true. HIGHLY recommend.

Sharing information about my hair and routines ahead of time allowed Lauren to consider my hair’s needs as well as the style I wanted. In the appointment, Lauren took the time to talk through my options, making sure we were on the same page. She books enough time to give each client a thorough consultation, an incredible head spa treatment, and the cut and style of your dreams. She was enthusiastic about teaching me how to use products and tools, and how to enrich my everyday routine. I actually felt like a new person leaving her salon. Lauren is kind, welcoming, and a true artist—everything you want in a hair stylist!
